Attempt to Clean Eating Day 4: Sweet Potatoes, Chicken, Salad, and Mixed Berries

Just two days before Christmas and hopefully these two days will be filled with clean eats before we go on full blown cheat days during the holidays. 😂

Anyway, here’s what I did today.

For carbs, I used golden sweet potatoes.

Pee, slice, and boil.

While that’s boiling, I started preparing the chicken. One chicken breast sliced in the middle and seasoned with Flavor God Lemon and Garlic Seasoning, Garlic Seasoning, and Cayenne Pepper.

I also added oyster sauce.

Marinade until the potatoes are done.

After about 20 minutes, the potatoes are cooked. Drain and let cool for a few minutes before dividing into portions.

I divided it into two containers and whatever is left will be for me.

Now we can start cooking the chicken. In a pan, pour 1-2tbsp. of virgin olive oil. Add the chicken and let it cook for 15-20 minutes.

Once cooked, let it cool for a bit before adding to your containers.

For greens, I prepared baby spinach, capsicum, iceberg lettuce, red onions tomatoes.

For dessert, green grapes, cherries, and strawberries.

Did everything in less than an hour coz I was also in a hurry to get ready for our last minute Christmas shopping.

Hopefully we don’t really eat too much on Christmas (I doubt that 😂😄).

Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁🎅
