Attempt to Clean Eating Day 2: Brown Rice, Mixed Veggies, Pan-fried Chicken

I had left over brown rice and quinoa from yesterday so I divided it into two containers.

For the veggies, I sliced cauliflowers, green beans, snow peas, and frozen mixed veggies.

I sprinkled low salt seasoning from Flavor God, cayenne pepper, black pepper on the chicken and left it for 20 minutes.

Begin with cooking the veggies. On a pre-heated pan, add in a few drops of extra virgin olive oil and garlic. When it’s brown, add the veggies. Season with lil bit of oyster sauce and pepper.

Cook for 5-10 minutes then remove from pan.

Using the same pan, add a few drops of olive oil then add the chicken. Cover until the chicken is golden brown.

You’ll have something that looks like this.

Pour into containers.

And for dessert, fresh cherries.

Everything tastes less salty and that’s good coz clean eating is all about less salt and sugar. The closer the food is from its original state (except for meat) the healthier the food is.
